Living ART

Natasha Denona said it best when she said, “be a living work of art!’’

Two of my best friends traveled to Mexico last week and of course, I had to send them with a few versatile pieces- styled by me.

I do not always draw inspiration from the weather, the current trends or celebrities. Sometimes, I just let the creative vibe flow and that is exactly what  I did with their two outfits.

Starting with Jamie, I chose a soft, deep-cut, tight white dress. The dress is a piece that can be dressed up or down, depending on the accessories and shoes chosen. I wanted to spice it up for Jamie at the beach and embellished the look with beautiful, colorful vintage earrings from Snaagged, a tight belt, and clear heels. The look was classy, fun, and appropriate for a fun night out. Jamie admitted to me that the look was just as cute with her white van slides--versatility and comfort are always key. Jamie’s look composed of all items that we already had, nothing new.

This was not my first time styling TeNesha but it was her first time modeling an outfit for me, I have to admit, I was nervous because TeNesha was apprehensive about doing so at first. To my surprise, she loved it. She said, “ I feel like a Beverly Hill’s troop leader with a touch of Frida Kahlo.” This was a perfect description. The cut offs and dated crop top went well with her flannel and nude sandals that she later paired the look with. The look was also amazing with the classy earrings, scarf, and fuscia heels. The contrast of the blue scarf and pink heels added a fun flair to the fit. TeNesha’s look was under twenty dollars. Talk about a bang for your buck.

Going on a vacation soon? Let me style your vacation looks baby. Special shoutout to my friends for being living art. <3
